Marker 1 Marina is located one block east and across the street from Barracuda Bob's.  They offer transient slips for visiting boaters, a fully stocked Ship's Store with all sorts of boating necessities, a fuel dock with unleaded gas and diesel, and a fully equipped service bay to handle any needed boat repair.

The clear green waters of Clearwater Bay and St. Joseph Sound are an angler's paradise with miles and miles of lush, shallow grass flats, rocky oyster bars, numerous spoil islands, shaded mangrove shorelines and barrier island beaches that are havens for big game fish of all kinds.  Whether you're fishing from a boat or kayak, or just want to wade out or fish from shore on one of our many beaches or bridges, this area offers some of the finest saltwater sport fishing on Florida's west coast.  Our area is world famous for big tarpon and snook!

Located on the Dunedin Causeway; gateway to the productive backwaters of Clearwater Bay and St. Joseph Sound, Honeymoon and Caladesi Islands, and the gulf beaches; ​Barracuda Bob's is your one stop shop for all of your bait, tackle and beach supply needs before heading out for a great day of fishing, boating or just beaching it and relaxing in the sun with an ice cold beverage.

Sure, we still offer the great bait and fishing tackle we're famous for, but we've also made the moves to become Dunedin's premier headquarters​ for beach and water sports enthusiasts of all kinds, including sales and rentals of sport and fishing kayaks, paddle boards and accessories; cool island, beach and fishing apparel; island souvenirs; and a whole bunch of other neat stuff you'll likely need while on the water to maximize your enjoyment.

Divides Honeymoon and Caladesi islands, providing boaters with an instant exit to the offshore waters of the Gulf of Mexico and Gulf beaches, and anglers access to the many big game species that cruise the Gulf.  The pass also allows fresh, clean Gulf waters to flow into St. Joseph Sound with every incoming tide, offering boaters and shore bound anglers alike excellent opportunities to snag trophy game fish right off the beach.  Passenger ferry service links Honeymoon and Caladesi Islands.

Sutherland Bayou County Parkboat ramp is 2.5 miles south of Barracuda Bob's at 2119 ALT US 19  in Palm Harbor.  There is a $6 launch fee and quite a long run at minimum wake down a shallow channel to reach the open waters of St. Joseph Sound.

Barracuda Bob's is located just 20 minutes west of Tampa International Airport, ten minutes north of Clearwater and Clearwater Beach, ten minutes south of Tarpon Springs and is easy to get to from just about anywhere!

Dunedin Municipal Marina boat ramp is 2.5 miles south of Barracuda Bob's at 51 Main Street just off downtown Dunedin.     The ramp is open 24/7 and there is a $5 launch fee for Dunedin residents or $15 fee for nonresidents.

Dunedin Causeway

The Dunedin Causeway crosses over St. Joseph Sound linking the mainland at US Hwy Alt 19 to Honeymoon Island State Park.  The Causeway is a bit over two miles long with two bridges, and beaches on both sides, where anglers can fish from shore or wade out to find their piscatorial prey, small boaters and kayakers can launch their vessels, and families can play in the sun and water. Many of the nicest fish we've seen at Barracuda Bob's have come from the Causeway! Parking is FREE, there's a great bicycle and walking trail, and it's a great spot from which to watch the sunsets.

Pet Beach, located on Hurricane Pass at the southern end of Honeymoon Island, is a popular spot for surf fisherman and waders, and while many species of big game fish of all kinds are regularly caught here year around, it is famous for the big, trophy Snook that gather in the pass every spring and summer to fatten up before heading offshore to spawn.                   

This is also the only beach anywhere around where pets are welcome, so dog lovers regularly bring their furry friends here for long walks on the beach and to romp in the clear Gulf waters.

Small boats, canoes and kayaks can launch for FREE right off the Dunedin Causeway beaches.  For larger boats there are two public boat ramps located nearby, and Marker 1 Marina is located just one block east of Barracuda Bob's.  

Marker 1 offers transient docks, marine gas and diesel fuel, a ships store and a full suite of vessel maintenance and repairs.
